Crispy Deep-Fried Mushrooms

Breaded mushrooms get that true, crispy crust when deep-fried. Trust, these deep-fried breaded mushrooms are the best out there! Crispy, crunchy breaded ones, served with cool dip.
Button mushrooms — 17 oz
Bread crumbs — 1 cup
Flour — ½ cup
Eggs — 2
Milk — 1 oz
Dried oregano — ½ tsp
Dried thyme — ¼ tsp
Red chili flakes — ½ tsp
Vegetable oil for deep-frying

Clean mushrooms and remove stems
Sprinkle with some salt
Mix flour, salt and seasonings to combine
Whisk milk and eggs
Working in batches, coat mushrooms in flour mixture
Transfer mushrooms to the egg mixture and dip until fully coated
Finally, coat mushrooms in breadcrumbs
Serve with your favourite dipping sauce!
